Zoe Guo is a partner of the firm’s Taipei office. Zoe works on a range of complex litigation matters in Taiwan and abroad, including securities, M&A and intellectual property and urban renewal suits. She is also experienced in all aspects of dispute resolutions, including high-profile civil, administrative and criminal litigations.

Zoe regularly counsels companies and their directors on issues of corporate governance and litigation, often in connection with major strategic transactions. Her advice to clients combines a nuanced understanding of the regulatory terrain with the firm’s strong litigation and transactional resources. Zoe’s prior experience in a listed commercial bank enables her to handle the most esoteric technical issues, manage critical enforcement and compliance challenges in the new regulatory environment and lead complex and sophisticated transactions.

Zoe also works closely with companies, including financial institutions and mutual funds, on a wide range of anti-money laundering (AML) issues. She advises and assists clients to establish AML compliance programs, address the reporting of suspicious activities and enhanced due diligence requirements, establish customer identification and documentation requirements, and review and prepare customer/investor profile forms to obtain the requisite customer information.

Based on her extensive experience, Zoe develops an intimate understanding and appreciation for the client’s business position, enabling her to provide commercially driven advice.
